He gained early recognition as an award-winning youth performer, representing institutions such as Jitterbugs Swingapore, WannaStudio, The Dancesport Academy, and LASALLE College of the Arts.

He pursued professional training through diploma programs at LASALLE College of the Arts and NAFA, earning scholarships with Frontier Danceland (2018/19) and Singapore Dance Theatre (2019/20). Graduating as NAFA’s Best Graduate, Sabril later received a Full-Tuition Scholarship to the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and trained with choreographers like Crystal Pite and Jiří Kylián through the Nederlands Dans Theater Summer Intensive.

Sabril has built a dynamic career through performances and collaborations with notable companies, including Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre, Sigma Contemporary Dance, Music & Drama Company, and Nagi Contemporary Dance Corps. His stage presence has graced prestigious events such as Esplanade: A Symphony of Life, the Manila International Dance Festival, the International Mask Festival in Surakarta, and Under the Big Tree at Hokkien Huay Kuan.

Beyond performing, Sabril has established himself as a choreographer, creating original works that reflect his artistic voice. His contemporary piece Red Echoes//Yellow Lines, presented at SCDT’s Emergence showcase, stands as a highlight of his creative achievements. He also spearheaded the development of Coalescence, a contemporary ballet commissioned for NAFA’s The Third Space event, realized through close collaboration with rehearsal director Adly Azizi and faculty members Yarra Illeto and Susan Yeung.

Complementing his performance and choreography work, Sabril has contributed to the growth of young dancers as a coach and instructor at Lighthouse Dance, BalletBody, Jitterbugs Swingapore, City Ballet Academy, and Slap Dance Studio. Looking ahead, he remains committed to sharing his passion for contemporary ballet while continuing to expand his artistic journey across Asia, Europe, and North America.
