Koichi Kamino
Profile
Koichi Kamino, a highly accomplished ballet dancer and instructor, has built a distinguished career spanning over a decade in the arts and culture industry. Originally from Japan, Koichi’s journey in dance began with rigorous training at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Ballet Performance. During his time as a student, he was selected to perform soloist roles, showcasing his early potential on prestigious stages.






From 2017 to 2020, Koichi served as a demi-soloist at Theatre Wielki Poznan in Poland. His standout performances included Swan Lake as Benno, Cinderella as the Ballet Master, and Romeo and Juliet. His artistry was also highlighted in gala events, such as performing the Don Quixote Divertissement as the First Soloist at Nina Ananiashvili’s Gala. Since 2021, Koichi has brought his expertise to Singapore as a Senior Ballet Instructor and Choreographer. At M.A Ballet, he has mentored students to achieve remarkable accolades, including finalist and gold medal placements in the International Ballet Grand Prix Singapore. Additionally, Koichi has served as a part-time instructor at LASALLE College of the Arts, contributing to the next generation of dancers with his passion and pedagogical skills.
